Majestic music is one important part of worship. It prepares the hearts of the believers in adoring the almighty God, thus setting the reverrential mood in a church service. We thank God for our pastor, Dr. Benny M. Abante Jr., an accomplished musician himself, who sees to it that the songs singing still follow the traditional Biblical style.
All the MBBC congregations and churches have their own choir and special number teams. Many improvement are still under way in the MBBC’s Music Ministry as it continously praise God in ways artistic in the realm of christianity.
THE MBBC MAIN CHOIR
The cause of Christ through beautiful songs has always been the ultimate goal, as asserted by brother Bobet Francisco as the MBBC Main Choir Director. Our gracious God used our beloved pastor, Dr. Benny M. Abante Jr., in training them, with the exceptionally gifted pianist, Ms. Rita Antonia Abante.
THE MBBC- MAIN SINGING GROUPS
In its 25 years of existence, the MBBC Sta. Ana special number teams have been participated in by a host of members already. At present, some are still singing in the teams, if not in the choir. Others are now involved in other ministries serving here and in other churches abroad.
Becoming a member in the special number team is not just a privelege but a commitment as well. Today, there are three groups existing namely: The Main Ensemble, the BYI Ensemble and the Trio. Mrs Sally Cristobal and Ms. Rita Abante are the soloist.
THE INSTRUMENT PLAYERS
The one completing the inpiring singing voices equally add life to the beauty of the songs, and these are the instrument players. Much credit is given to Ms. Rita Abante who is of much use to the Ministry. Armed with the rare talent in both singing and piano playing, she graduated in the UP Diliman College of Music. ” Rich” is presently enrolled at Berkley College of Music, Boston, USA.
The ones helping Rich in the piano is Ms. Princes Abante, who has just graduated from college. Their energetic mother, Mrs. Marie Paz Abante, handles the organ, and the guitarist is Mr. Reyzel Cayanan, who has been showing his talent in music since his early years in the church.
