Just imagine what a worship service would be like on any Sunday morning if there are no ushers in their places who are aware of their responsibilities.

Right after the Metropolitan Bible Baptist Church held its first few services, then at the La Torre St., Sta. Ana, and now at its present home, the Ushering Ministry was established. Every member of this ministry must be dedicated to serve the Lord in His Church. He must also be loyal to the Pastor and to the cause of Christ. Aside from greeting the attendees and leading them to their seats, ushers are also expected to perform tasks that can bring about orderliness in every church services.

The ministry has been blessed with able men of God. Most of them are professionals (i.e. judge, doctors, engineers, businessmen, accountants, teachers, military men, etc) and are successful in their field of work, which points out that God honors those who would put Him first in their lives.

Twenty- three years after, hundreds of church services and special gatherings have been celebrated and thousands of attendees have been welcomed and escorted… still, the Ushering Ministry remains steadfast and continues to perform its tasks, be it small or great, for the glory of God.
